RankVII Editorial Team operates RankVII. Privacy, correction and deletion requests can be sent to contact@rankvii.com.
Information we process
- Language, theme and privacy preferences stored in cookies or local storage.
- A signed pseudonymous visitor identifier used for voting, abuse prevention and rate limits. It is not designed to identify you by name.
- Ratings, reviews, nicknames and other material you intentionally submit for public display.
- Security records, short-lived request buckets and rotating IP-derived hashes used to prevent fraud and protect the service.
- Photos submitted to the appearance tool. Private analysis is processed for the requested result; a photo is stored publicly only after a separate publication choice.
Purposes and retention
- Language and visitor cookies may remain for up to one year.
- Ranking-review audit records may remain for up to 180 days; short-lived mutation/rate-limit buckets normally expire within seven days.
- Public reviews, ratings and opt-in published photos remain while the contribution is public or until a valid removal request is completed.
- Operational logs are retained only as long as reasonably needed for security, debugging and legal obligations.
Advertising, analytics and external providers
Google AdSense is loaded only on eligible editorial/catalogue pages when a valid publisher account is configured and the operator has enabled a Google-certified consent platform. Ads are excluded from the appearance tool, administration, diagnostics and thin/error pages.
Optional analytics is disabled until the visitor grants the optional analytics preference. Google Fonts, data providers and linked source websites may receive ordinary network information when their resources are requested.
Google may process advertising data under its own policies. European, UK and Swiss advertising is conditioned on a Google-certified consent platform configured through AdSense Privacy & messaging.
Your choices and rights
You may reject optional analytics, change the preference from the Cookie Policy page, and request access, correction or deletion using the contact address above. Some security and provenance records may be retained when legally required or necessary to protect the service.
Children
The photo-analysis and public-contribution tools are not intended for children. Do not upload or publish a minor’s photo or personal information.
